Surgery - General Physician

Coverage Needed

• Start Date: October 17, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.
• End Date: October 20, 2025, at 7:00 a.m.
• Schedule: Full coverage required for the entire period

Clinical Details

• Work Setting: Inpatient and outpatient hospital coverage
• Patient Volume: 25 patients per day in clinic, up to 8 elective surgical cases per day
• Call: Solo call coverage, nights and weekends
• Procedures: Upper and lower scopes, gall bladder removal, appendix removal, food bolus, bowel obstruction, hernia repair
• Consults and procedures in the emergency department
• ICU and critical care duties as needed
• EMR: EPIC

Requirements

• Board Certified or eligible in General Surgery
• License: North Carolina license
• BLS
• Experience: Five years of general surgery experience preferred
