Key Responsibilities
Demonstrate knowledge of insurance processes including deductibles and copays
Accurately record payments from patients and insurance companies
Conduct regular reviews of patient accounts to identify discrepancies
Interact with patients to address billing inquiries and assist with payment arrangements
Initiate collection efforts for past-due accounts
Maintain detailed records of all interactions and transactions
Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations including HIPAA
Generate reports on accounts receivable status and billing performance
Required Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role within healthcare finance or billing
Strong understanding of insurance processes and healthcare billing regulations
