Key Responsibilities

  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post procedure
  • Administer medications as ordered
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transport patients as needed
  • Share on-call responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • 1 - 2 years’ experience preferred
  • Graduate from an accredited school
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment (50-100 lbs), pushing, bending and pulling
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members
  • Ability to monitor patients’ responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Ability to administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Ability to monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
  • Ability to share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Ability to transport patients as needed
  • Ability to perform other duties as assigned

  • Technical skills to grasp, push/pull, and move while assisting with procedures or operating departmental equipment
  • Cognitive demands to manage frequent interactions with the public and customers and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Keen visual understanding and practical communication abilities
