Job Description
As a Transportation Supervisor at Sysco, you will oversee delivery operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety protocols while managing the performance of Delivery Associates. This dynamic role includes training staff, handling customer interactions, and driving efficiency in operations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily work and safety of Delivery Associates
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Manage labor hours and consumable supplies within budget
Prepare work schedules and organize repairs with proper departments
Communicate with Sales Management and Marketing Associates
Conduct training and enforce company policies
Monitor associate morale and engagement
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1-3 years related experience and/or training
Successful completion of a Sysco approved defensive driving program
Preferred Qualifications
2 or 4-year college degree in Business Management or Supply Chain Management
