PCU RN Job Details

• Location: Burlington, MA 01805 (Greater Boston area)
• Unit: 6 East Progressive Care Unit
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing contract
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• End Date: March 14, 2026
• Duration: 13-week assignment
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36 (72 hours biweekly guaranteed)
• Float: No floating required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,310 - $2,470

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing experience in an acute care hospital
• Previous travel nurse and trauma hospital experience preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• Flu vaccine required prior to start (no religious exemptions)
• Must be separated from BILH for at least 6 months if previously employed (permanent, per diem, or travel)
• Submit all requested time off with application

PCU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, recognizing changes and responding promptly
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment per hospital policies
