Key Responsibilities
Perform inspection, diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and repair of diesel heavy trucks and engines
Utilize diagnostic software to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs
Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards
Assist with emergency breakdowns when on call
Required Qualifications
3+ years’ experience as a heavy-duty Diesel Mechanic
Experience working on heavy-duty diesel equipment or training from a recognized trade school
Valid driver’s license
Ability to speak and read English
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and meet physical requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Hydraulics experience
CDL preferred
Experience with diagnostic software such as Premium Tech Tool (Mack), Allison transmission, Cummins, Peterbilt, Paccar
Yellow Iron experience
Knowledge of DOT and OSHA standards
