Position - Registered Nurse

Specialty - Cath Lab

Shifts -Day 4x10-Hour (06:30 - 17:00)

Location - Towson, MD 21204

Job Type - Full Time Contract

Duration -13 weeks (with possible extension)

Hours per week - 40

Start Date - 09/22

Submission Requirements:

1) 2YR experience required; first-time travelers accepted

2) Active BLS and ACLS cert from AHA- Required

3) Active NIH Cert- Required

4) Active Maryland RN or Compact License- Required

Job Duties:

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, including performing physical assessments, obtaining informed consent, and providing pre-procedure education
• Monitor patients during and after procedures, including monitoring vital signs, ECG, and other laboratory values
• Administer medications as prescribed and document patient responses to medications
• Provide patient and family education regarding pre-and post-procedure care and any potential risks associated with cardiac catheterization procedures
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all safety protocols
