Tenet Healthcare along with DMC Medical Group is actively seeking a BE/BC fellowship-trained spinal neurosurgeon for a full-time, employed opportunity in Detroit, MI. We have a newly appointed, fully accredited, Neuro Critical Care Fellowship program to support our neurosciences programs.

What to Expect / Key Responsibilities:

• Mix of General NS and Spine procedures
• Typical schedule: 3-4 clinic days and 1-2 OR/Procedure/Call days per week
• Shared call with 3 providers – 8 NPs to assist with inpatient rounds 24/7
• Specialized Equipment/Resources: PACs on site – attached to hospital
• Working mainly out of the DMC Neurosurgery clinic downtown at Harper Hospital

• Supportive ancillary staff available
• Hospital privileges at all 5 DMC facilities
• A willingness to participate in research is welcomed.

Requirements:

1. Board Certification - – must have completed an accredited spine base fellowship
2. Active MI Medical License (or willingness to obtain)
3. Ideally, the selected physician will have 3–5 years of experience outside of training
