Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
Provide therapy to improve patients’ communication, cognitive, and swallowing skills
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient care
Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapy strategies
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress
Required Qualifications
Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Strong communication and organizational skills
Compassionate and patient-focused approach to therapy
Preferred Qualifications
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting
