Job Description

Join Touchstone Communities as a Payroll Associate and play a vital role in ensuring team members are compensated correctly and on time. Work in a collaborative payroll team, supporting compassionate care from behind the scenes while managing end-to-end payroll processing and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process semi-monthly payroll and off-cycle payments with precision and timeliness
  • Respond to employee and HR inquiries regarding payroll, timekeeping, and compensation policies
  • Maintain and update payroll data within Paycor and other internal systems
  • Administer and track garnishments, verifying accurate deductions
  • Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies
  • Assist with 401(k) match reporting, PTO balances, and payroll analytics
  • Prepare documentation for internal audits, subpoenas, and external reporting requests
  • Support quarterly and annual filings such as 941s and PBJ reports
  • Train new HR team members on payroll and timekeeping basics
  • Reconcile payroll data with the General Ledger
  • Uphold strict confidentiality of all payroll and employee information

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on payroll processing experience (in-house preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Clear, professional communication—written and verbal
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Experience with Paycor or other large HRIS systems
