Key Responsibilities
Prepares patients and adjusts equipment for taking film
Performs required procedures utilizing proper positioning and technique
Identifies and screens patients for proper diet preparation and allergies
Records procedure and pertinent data in patient’s medical record
Participates in quality assessment and improvement plans
Monitors inventory of supplies and reports equipment malfunctions
Produces high-quality images for Radiologist interpretation
Mentors and assists in the education of students
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
Radiography (R) certification from ARRT within 60 days
