Sign on bonus: Ultrasound Technologist II - Days
Part Time: 20 hours/week
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am -4:00pm , rotating weekends and holidays
Required Travel: No
The Ultrasound Technologist II is an experienced role responsible for performing a wide range of advanced ultrasound procedures and providing expert technical support. This position requires a deep understanding of ultrasound techniques, equipment, and patient care, as well as a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Perform a variety of advanced ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, vascular, obstetric, gynecologic, and other specialized examinations, to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
Operate and maintain advanced ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to quality standards.
Adjust imaging parameters to optimize image quality and accuracy, demonstrating proficiency in various scanning techniques.
Conduct regular quality control checks on ultrasound equipment and maintain records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Accurately document patient information, procedure details, and image data in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
Ensure the safe use of ultrasound equipment and adherence to safety protocols, including proper disposal of biohazardous materials.
Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret images, provide input on patient care plans, and assist in clinical decision-making.
Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound technology, safety protocols, and clinical best practices through ongoing education and training.
3 Years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with proficiency in advanced ultrasound procedures required.
~ Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
