This locum tenens Radiology Physician role involves providing emergency radiology coverage at a trauma center with a focus on high-volume STAT reads including CT trauma, stroke imaging, emergency MRI, vascular and OB ultrasound, and CT perfusion studies. The position includes evening and weekend shifts with negotiated pay, housing, travel arrangements, malpractice coverage, and credentialing assistance provided by the staffing agency. The role requires specialized radiology expertise and experience in emergency imaging modalities to support inpatient and outpatient care.

  • Evening shifts 4 pm - 8 pm weekends
  • 110 - 130 RVUs per weekend shift with additional routine studies
  • Trauma center emergency radiology coverage
  • High-volume STAT reads including ER, inpatient, and outpatient studies
  • Experience required in CT trauma, stroke imaging, and emergency MRI
  • Proficiency needed in vascular ultrasound and OB ultrasound
  • Expertise in CTA and CT perfusion studies required
  • 40% X-ray studies -- primarily emergency cases
