• Location: Webster, TX 77598 – Prime location for Texas nursing jobs with easy access to Houston and coastal attractions.
• Unit: Cardiovascular Intermediate Care Unit (CV IMU), Heart Tower, 3rd Floor
• Number of Beds: 24
• Staff: 52 total; night shift includes 1 charge nurse/CNC, 6 RN/LVN floor nurses, 2-3 nurse techs, and sitters as needed
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7P-7A)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/10/2025 – End: 2/9/2026)
• Weekend Rotation: Required
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1360-$1460

Telemetry RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Texas or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent IMCU/Telemetry nursing experience (including chest tubes, BiPAP, trach care)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Proficient in cardiac monitoring and cardiac interventions
• Experience with critical drips (Heparin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Lasix, Bumex, Insulin)
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to float to MedSurg/IMCU units as needed
• EMR experience with Meditech preferred
• Cardiovascular (CV) nursing experience preferred

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Cardiovascular Intermediate Care Unit (CV IMU)
• Monitor and manage cardiac patients, including post-procedure care (TAVR, Watchman, heart cath, PCI, CABG, pacemakers, ablations)
• Administer and titrate critical drips and medications
• Assist with and perform procedures such as cardioversion
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
• Demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff members
• Float to other nursing units as required by facility needs
