This role incorporates all the technical skills associated with ultrasound, including related clerical and service duties
Performs ultrasound studies, including diagnostic breast imaging and limited vascular studies, as assigned
Performs routine quality control/quality assurance tasks and maintains exam suites in good and appropriate order
Obtains pertinent medical history, instructs patient regarding exam procedures and preparation
Performs related clerical duties as needed

Graduate of an AMA accredited ultrasound program or equivalent
Certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Demonstrated competency to perform ultrasound exams on newborns, children, adults, and geriatric patients, meeting all department guidelines
Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position
