Job Description
Join Danbury Brunswick as a Memory Care Coordinator, where you will lead impactful therapeutic programs for residents with Alzheimer's and dementia. Be part of a supportive family-like environment that values teamwork and personal growth while making a difference in the lives of the residents.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate therapeutic programs for residents
Assess resident characteristics and organize program content
Monitor daily functioning of the neighborhood
Develop and conduct in-service training for staff
Establish teamwork through effective communication
Market the program within community organizations
Maintain accurate documentation complying with regulations
Assist residents with admission and adjustment to the community
Required Qualifications
Must be an LPN
Two years of previous experience in programming
Experience with Alzheimer's and other dementia individuals
Preferred Qualifications
3-5 years of experience
Background in nursing/ providing one on one care for seniors
Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
