Key Job Details – ER RN Travel Contract

• Location: Wichita Falls, TX 76301 (North Texas healthcare jobs)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1700-$1820
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025, End: 3/16/2026)
• Shift: Night shifts, 12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: Alternating 36/48 hour weeks; facility schedules 84 hours biweekly with a 72-hour guarantee
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Unit: Emergency Department / Clinical Decision Unit
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing (W2)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent emergency room nursing experience (ER RN)
• Active Registered Nurse license (Texas RN license preferred)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to complete required labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform triage, assessment, and rapid intervention for acute medical conditions
• Manage trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and behavioral emergencies
• Administer emergency medications, blood products, and advanced life support interventions
• Operate advanced clinical equipment (ventilators, central lines, chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, social services)
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training modules
