Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry

Shift Details:

• Shift Type: Nights

• Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week guaranteed

• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend / holidays as needed

• On-Call: TBD

• Possible Role: May be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates total nursing care for patients

• Participates in patient and family teaching

• Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel

• Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting

• May float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg units

Requirements:

• RN Licensure

• 2 years recent Med Surg & Rehab experience required

• Previous travel experience (minimum 3 months) required

• Charge RN experience required

• ACLS & BLS required

• BSN preferred

Unit Information:

• EMR: Cerner

• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4–1:5

• Average daily patient census: 22
