Key Responsibilities
Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care for behavioral or mental health nursing
Models proficiency by precepting new staff
Initiates corrective actions for adverse patient symptoms
Responds to patient care situations using nursing standards
Provides psychiatric nursing to complex behavioral health patients
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
6 months of nursing (RN) experience
Advanced CPI certification within 30 days upon hire
BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
