Job Description
As a Navy Chaplain, you will support and uplift Sailors and Marines, providing spiritual guidance during both joyful and challenging moments. You'll conduct worship services, perform religious ceremonies, and promote the spiritual well-being of service members.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct worship services in various settings
Perform religious rites and ceremonies
Counsel individuals seeking guidance
Oversee religious education programs
Visit and provide spiritual care to hospitalized personnel
Train lay leaders for religious education programs
Promote attendance at religious services and events
Advise leaders on morale, ethics, and spiritual well-being
Required Qualifications
U.S. citizen or equivalent
Graduate degree in theological or related studies from an accredited institution
Two years of full-time religious leadership experience
Ability to obtain an Ecclesiastical Endorsement from a registered religious faith organization
