Job Description

Join Quill, part of the Staples family, as a Customer Service Representative and take on the challenge of driving sales growth for a substantial customer base. Utilize your sales expertise and strategic thinking to manage accounts and identify new opportunities while enjoying a supportive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales results for assigned accounts (~$8-10M+)
  • Acquire new business and grow sales while managing current customer base
  • Map accounts and identify core and specialty category opportunities
  • Create and maintain strategic growth plans for accounts
  • Utilize enablement tools to keep customer data updated
  • Utilize Salesforce for managing the sales pipeline
  • Execute sales strategies through multiple channels including phone and email
  • Leverage sales methodologies to retain and grow the customer base

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years sales experience in Account Management and/or Business Development
  • Availability to travel (up to 4x per year)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Prior experience working with large complex accounts
  • Responsibility for a sales quota with a track record of exceeding it
  • Experience managing complex deals from start to finish
  • Experience with the business-to-business sales process
  • Responsibility for retaining and growing accounts
