Position Purpose:
Responsible for training delivery drivers on a day-to-day basis on all aspects of the delivery driver job duties. Utilizes all company training guides, manuals, checklists, and processes to ensure compliance with company policies, practices, safety, and DOT regulations.
Performs preferred work method observations and provides verbal and written feedback on driver trainees' performance including suggested development actions. May run routes per business needs. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Position Details:
Shift: Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm)
Pay: $28 - $30/hour (DOE)
Locations: Based in Gardiner, ME but will be required to travel to our other depots in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont as needed to support them in the training of new drivers
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Qualification:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A)
2 - 4 years of Transportation delivery driver experience specifically in foodservice industry with in-depth knowledge of DOT regulations
