Join BNY as a Vice President in Technology Control Management II, where you will lead in identifying and mitigating engineering control issues, drive cybersecurity initiatives, and foster a proactive risk culture within a leading financial services firm.
Key Responsibilities
Set the strategy for identifying, analyzing, monitoring, reporting, and minimizing Engineering control issues
Support the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and High-Level Assessment (HLA) processes
Implement Engineering Control Framework practices
Facilitate Applications and Infrastructure to implement compensatory controls for cybersecurity risks
Manage analysis to recommend and direct changes to mitigate risk
Support audit response and regulatory inquiries
Monitor KRI for Engineering processes and emerging threats
Drive proactive risk culture within the organization
Manage complex projects to improve controls
Required Qualifications
7-10 years of total work experience
Experience in technology/information risk, assurance or advisory
Strong communication skills
Experience in the securities or financial services industry
Understanding of design and operating effectiveness of IT controls
Preferred Qualifications
CISA, CISSP or CRISC and ISACA certifications
Good understanding of NIST SP 800-53
Experience defining, implementing, and monitoring IT risk management programs
Prior hands-on experience with AI/ML framework
