Join Zen Educate as a Special Education Teacher Assistant to support K-12 special education students in Minneapolis–Saint Paul. You'll work with licensed teachers to help students achieve their IEP goals while gaining valuable classroom experience.
Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed staff in implementing academic adaptations and IEPs
Work with students individually or in small groups
Maintain a safe and conducive classroom environment
Provide timely support for students in crisis
Utilize various learning methods to enhance engagement
Required Qualifications
60 college credits or higher, OR passing score on the Paraeducator Assessment or Paraprofessional Assessment
Professional proficiency in English
U.S. Work Authorization
Preferred Qualifications
ParaPro Certification
Behavioral Technician or PCA experience
Past work experience in a school setting with children with special needs
