Job Description
Join Mercy as a Per Diem MRI Technologist, where you will play a vital role in patient care by operating advanced MRI equipment. Your expertise will help physicians diagnose and treat various conditions, all within a compassionate environment that values your unique skills.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images for diagnosis and treatment
Select appropriate imaging techniques and operate console and peripheral hardware
Enter and monitor patient data
Transfer images from disk to PACS
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program
ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT registry
BLS Basic Life Support
IV Insertion
Technical skill in medical scanning
Understanding of cross-sectional anatomy
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor degree
At least 1 year of relevant experience
ARRT or ARMRIT - 1 Advanced registry (MRI)
