Job Description
Join Boston Consulting Group as a Payroll Analyst, where you'll lead the transformation of payroll functions across the US and Canada. This role offers the chance to shape payroll processes, enhance efficiencies, and provide exceptional service to clients, all within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Ownership of policies and practices related to multi-state payroll reporting and tax compliance
Managing multi-state tax equalization process
Auditing monthly employee records for proper payroll setup
Overseeing mobility-related payroll functions for U.S.-based expatriates
Planning and coordinating transformation process activities
Managing multiple complex projects
Building strong partnerships with colleagues across the organization
Managing day-to-day escalations and resolving issues
Required Qualifications
Associates degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
5+ years Payroll experience
Experience with 3rd party payroll service (ADP, Ceridian etc.)
Deep understanding of full cycle payroll operations
Ability to handle confidential information
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience in system/operational transformations
Working knowledge of automation capabilities (Alteryx, Power BI, UI Path etc.)
Working knowledge and experience with international mobility rules
Working knowledge and experience with multi-state payroll taxation rules
