This position offers a locum tenens opportunity for a board certified or eligible pediatric hospitalist in California, providing hospital-based inpatient care including nursery rounding and management of pediatric and newborn patients. Responsibilities include pediatric resuscitation, intubation, lumbar punctures, admissions and discharges management, with support from the neonatology and emergency medicine teams.   • 24-hour call schedule -- 4 consecutive days
  • 4 - 5 pediatric patients and 3 - 15 newborn patients daily
  • Hospital-based inpatient care with nursery rounding duties
  • ER consults and code coverage by emergency medicine team
  • Required skills: pediatric resuscitation, intubation, lumbar punctures
  • Admissions and discharges management
  • No delivery attendance required -- neonatology team coverage
  • Board certified/eligible position
