The Case Assistant plays a vital role in supporting adults with serious mental illness to achieve greater independence. This role involves direct care, advocacy, and collaboration with residents to help them navigate daily living challenges while promoting recovery and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Support residents in attaining independent living skills
Assist residents with daily living activities
Advocate for residents with service providers
Document resident interactions
Facilitate roommate meetings and special events
Required Qualifications
High school degree or HSE
Experience working with individuals living with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, or trauma
Preferred Qualifications
Two years of experience in a Human Services or Community Mental Health setting
