Seeking Travel ICU RN
Location: Regional Hospital of Scranton
EMR = Cerner
16 beds
Patient Ratio: 1:2 depending on acuity
Role:
- Continuous Monitoring :
- Hemodynamics
- Vital signs
- ECG
- Neurological status
- Emergency Response & Protocols :
- ACLS protocols
- Code Blue response
- Line & Medication Management :
- Management of central lines and arterial lines
- Administration of titratable drips
- Safe handling of high-alert medications
- Protocol Adherence :
- RASS (Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale)
- CAM-ICU (Confusion Assessment Method for the ICU)
- CIWA (Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment)
- Infection Prevention & Device Maintenance :
- Daily assessment and maintenance of lines/devices
- CLABSI (Central Line-Associated Bloodstream Infection) prevention
- CAUTI (Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infection) prevention
Shift Details - Schedule : Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Frequency : Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH)
- Contract Length : 13-week contract
Requirements - Licensure : Active RN license in Pennsylvania (PA)
- Experience : Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- Certifications :
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – (AHA)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – (AHA)
