Job Description
Join Lincoln Electric as a Designer Drafter, where you'll play a vital role in supporting Plant Engineering through 3D modeling and drafting. Collaborate with engineers, enhance design processes, and contribute to innovative projects in a leading global company.
Key Responsibilities
Support Plant Engineers with 3D models and detail manufacturing drafts
Reverse engineer components from physical parts or legacy drawings
Create and manage electronic files using document management systems
Assist in developing and maintaining templates and schematics
Maintain mechanical CAD procedures
Support fabrication through creation of supporting files
Document existing production and facility support equipment
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a High School Education or GED
Minimum of 3 years professional experience in design and drafting
Technically proficient in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Catia, or NX
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Experience with data management systems (PDM/PLM)
Experience with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers
Exposed to machine shop or metal manufacturing processes
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft software applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
