Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Upland, California.

Job Description & Requirements

Rad Onc RN for clinic seeing all cancer related diagnoses, including but not limited to: lung, breast, colon, brain, GYN, etc. CT sims for diagnosis purposes, with and without IV contrast. Nurse accesses ports and start peripheral IVs for this purpose.

80 hours orienation. Caribbean blue scrubs (not provided). Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR used. Provider support includes Interpretation Services, Pharmacy, and Social Services. 1st time traveler OK.

Certifications REQUIRED: BLS

Certifications Preferred: Chemo; OCN; ONS/ONCC

Skills/Experience REQUIRED: 2 years in Rad Onc; EPIC documentation; Outpatient oncology; Radiation Oncology; Accessing Ports; Care and management of ports; Starting IVs; Patient/Family education and support; External Radiation therapy (Teletherapy); Radiation safety precautions; Total Body Irradiation (TBI); Wound care; Alteration in skin and mucous membranes; Altered mental status; Constipation/diarrhea; Dysphagia; Edema; Nausea/vomiting; Neuropathy
