Job Description

As a Senior Operations Manager at Lowe's, you will lead operations to ensure efficient product flow and oversee a team of supervisors. Your role involves analyzing production volume, managing resources, and maintaining safety standards while driving performance to exceed key targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all operations and product flow through the facility
  • Supervising a team of Operations Supervisors
  • Analyzing and forecasting production volume
  • Reevaluating resources as workflow conditions change
  • Leading the team to meet key performance indicator targets
  • Resolving complex operational issues
  • Communicating business objectives and workload plans to team and senior leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 3 years of experience in distribution center operations or related area OR 7 years of experience in distribution center/warehouse operations
  • Leadership experience with direct report responsibility
  • Experience mentoring and coaching others
  • Experience leading a team through change
  • Proven record of complying with safety requirements
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of warehouse management systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing resources, time and budgets
  • Experience using troubleshooting processes to resolve problems
  • Experience taking a lead role in a Corporate-led initiative
  • Experience leading others through change
  • Bi-lingual skills
