ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Saginaw, Michigan.
Opportunity:
RN - PCU
Job Details:
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process with ongoing assessment of total patient needs
• Administer medications, treatments, and patient education as prescribed by physician authorized plan of care
• Function as team leader/member and resource to others, delegating and providing direction to support staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to establish goals and outcomes for each patient
• Evaluate effectiveness of treatment plans and participate in updating/revising plans with team members
• Respond to call lights, assist with transfers, respond to alarms, and perform other duties as appropriate
• Work every other weekend and holiday schedule
• No on-call responsibilities
• 2+ years of nursing experience required
• Neuro PCU experience required
• Recent traveler experience highly preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Michigan nursing license required
• Must comply with all local, state, federal regulations and hospital policies
• All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission
