Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Contract Assignments (West Virginia)

Location(s):

• Pine View Center – Harrisville, WV
• Canterbury Center – Shepherdstown, WV
• Willows Center – Parkersburg, WV
• Pierpont Center – Fairmont, WV

(All part of Genesis – East Region)

Assignment Dates: Contracts range from September–December 2025 (4–12 weeks, with potential for extension).

Shifts Available:

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM / 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Night Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend and every-other-weekend rotations required at certain facilities

Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team for contract assignments across multiple Genesis Healthcare centers in West Virginia. These local-only positions are ideal for LPNs looking to gain experience in different care settings while maintaining work-life balance with predictable scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of an RN or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly.
• Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility and state requirements.

Requirements

• Active LPN license in West Virginia.
• Must complete fingerprinting and be enrolled in WV CARES (for select facilities).
• At least 1 year of recent LPN experience preferred.
• Ability to work required weekend/rotating schedules.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
