Key Responsibilities
Provide educational leadership to nursing staff
Assess quality of care for specific patient populations
Coordinate and implement nursing staff orientation
Develop and monitor individualized orientation programs
Collaborate to plan and deliver educational curricula
Monitor compliance with quality standards
Participate in teaching and coaching of staff nurses
Analyze and evaluate research findings to advance clinical practice
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current Registered Nurse license in Connecticut
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
At least five years of progressive experience in clinical practice, nursing education, or nursing management in an acute care setting
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nursing
Basic certification in Education/Critical Care Nursing
