Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Crisis Behavioral Health Clinician and make a significant impact in the lives of children and young adults facing mental health crises. You will provide immediate crisis interventions, risk assessments, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure effective treatment in the Staten Island community.
Key Responsibilities
Provide culturally competent crisis interventions to children and young adults
Perform risk assessments and psychosocial evaluations
Create safety plans with clients and families
Develop short-term service plans in coordination with team members
Utilize evidence-based practices for clinical interventions
Maintain case documentation in electronic health record system
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
Assist in the intake process for new consumers
Work with Family Advocates to enhance communication
Required Qualifications
Licensed Mental Health clinician
Valid NYS Driver's License
Minimum of one year of relevant experience with similar client population
Proficient reading and writing English
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual clinicians (if relevant to the population serviced)
