Key Responsibilities
Completes organized and quality documentation as required by the department.
Facilitates the utilization of resources to meet patient outcomes.
Analyzes patient care needs and utilizes a systematic approach to delivery of care.
Provides age appropriate direct patient care.
Performs telephone triage including coordination of care.
Schedules tests and procedures as indicated.
Works with physicians to develop teaching tools for families and patients.
Performs community outreach as indicated.
Provides patient and family education.
Ensures that medical equipment is functioning properly.
Participates in the patient throughput process in the clinic.
Orientation of new staff.
Collaborates with administrative staff and physicians on the Quality Improvement Team.
Maintains compliance with regulatory agencies.
Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree of a state accredited Registered Nursing program
NYS current RN licensure to practice professional nursing
