ICU Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Hermiston, OR 97838 – Northeast Oregon healthcare jobs
• Department: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/3/2025 – End: 2/2/2026)
• Shift: Day Shift, 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week (36 guaranteed hours), including every other weekend
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2140–$2290 per week
• Team: Collaborate with two or three ICU nurses and a full-time Hospitalist physician

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (Oregon nursing license preferred for local candidates)
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience; ICU experience highly preferred
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
• Strong clinical skills and ability to care for adult and pediatric ICU patients
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in the ICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
• Offer compassionate support and education to patients and their families
• Maintain a safe, clean environment in compliance with hospital policies
