Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and flexible Float Pool Staff Nurse to join our team at Adena Health System. As a Float Pool Staff Nurse, you will provide direct patient care in various acute care settings, including medical-surgical, critical care, progressive care, and the emergency department.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care through the nursing process in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Travel to all areas of the health system, including critical access hospitals
• Administer care in a variety of acute care settings, including medical-surgical, critical care, progressive care, and the emergency department
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio required
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius
• Ability to travel to all areas of the health system, including critical access hospitals

Schedule

• Days: 7a-7p
• Nights: 7p-7a

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recent nursing experience – required Experience in acute care settings such as: Medical-Surgical Critical Care Progressive Care Emergency Department – preferred License & Certifications: Active RN license in Ohio or compact state – required BLS (Basic Life Support) – required ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – required PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – required NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) – required Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program – required
