Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or scintillation cameras.
Prepare stock solutions of radiopharmaceutical materials and calculate doses.
Administer therapeutic doses of radiopharmaceuticals under supervision.
Measure radioactivity using Geiger counters and other detectors.
Calibrate equipment and follow radiation safety techniques.
Perform other related duties as necessary.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
Nuclear Medical Technologist Certificate (California)
Basic Life Support certification
