Job Description

Join Alameda Health System’s Eastmont Wellness Center as a Board Certified/Eligible Pediatrician. This per diem position offers a unique opportunity to provide compassionate care in a diverse community, with the support of a dedicated team and no evening or weekend hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional medical services to patients
  • Supervise Mid-level Practitioners/Certified Nurse Midwives
  • Practice evidence-based medicine
  • Manage time and patient flow effectively
  • Stay current with patient care responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clinical team to improve quality of care
  • Educate patients, families, and staff on health practices

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of an approved residency in an appropriate specialty
  • Current valid license to practice medicine in California
  • Board Certification or Board Eligible in area of specialty
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • Valid Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Number

Preferred Qualifications

  • Crisis Prevention Intervention Training
