Job Description
The Clinical Manager – Home Health leads the supervision of clinical staff for high medical acuity clients, ensuring compliance with guidelines and policies. This role involves managing clinical programs, addressing client complaints, and overseeing staff training and evaluations while conducting home visits to ensure quality care.
Key Responsibilities
Plans, develops, and manages clinical programs and services
Assists with oversight of agency growth related to home care
Serves as the clinical expert for operational and financial management
Investigates client complaints and takes appropriate actions
Participates in recruiting and identifies training needs of clinical staff
Evaluates programs and services for improvement opportunities
Conducts regular client home visits for quality assurance
Ensures compliance with federal/state regulations
Supervises all clinical staff and performs annual evaluations
Oversees case management for financial soundness
Manages caseload as needed for client coverage
Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice
Obtain and maintain active CPR per agency policy
Associates degree required
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years RN experience in a healthcare setting (home health or hospice)
Medicare Skilled Nursing experience and a basic understanding of OASIS
