The National Account Director will lead strategic initiatives to enhance market access by managing key national accounts and negotiating contracts with PBMs and GPOs. This role requires strong leadership, negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape to drive revenue growth and optimize market positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategy for national accounts focusing on PBM and GPO relationships
Serve as primary liaison between the organization and key national accounts
Identify and cultivate new opportunities within PBM/GPO channels
Lead high-level negotiations for contracts and partnerships
Build and maintain long-term relationships with executive stakeholders
Collaborate with internal teams for cohesive market access approach
Monitor industry trends and analyze market performance metrics
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
8-10 years of experience in market access, national account management, or a related role within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
Success in managing complex PBM/GPO relationships
Proven track record of successful contract negotiations
