As a Physical Therapist, you’ll assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence. You’ll collaborate with occupational therapists, speech therapists, nurses, and physicians to deliver holistic care.
✅ Requirements
- Active PT license (Texas or compact state)
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in acute rehab or hospital-based therapy
- Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills
- BLS certification (required)
- Experience in Medical, Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU settings preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments
- Develop and execute treatment plans with measurable goals
- Administer therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, modalities, and exercise programs
- Educate patients and families on recovery strategies
- Document progress and outcomes in EMR systems
