Key Responsibilities
Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance
Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing
Obtain and record vital signs
Support residents with meals and snacks
Document resident interactions and care outcomes
Communicate changes in resident's condition to charge nurse
Assist with housekeeping and laundry services
Encourage resident participation in wellness and recreational programs
Required Qualifications
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Minimum age of 16
High school graduate or GED preferred
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing
Maintains continuing education credits
Registered with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry (if applicable)
