Job Description

Join The Jewish Board as a Crisis Behavioral Health Clinician, where you'll provide crucial crisis interventions for children and young adults facing emotional disturbances. You'll be part of a dedicated team delivering immediate support and treatment in the Staten Island community, making a meaningful impact on the lives of those in crisis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor CMCT email and respond to crisis referrals
  • Perform risk assessments and psychosocial evaluations
  • Create safety plans with clients and families
  • Develop and implement short-term service plans
  • Utilize evidenced-based practices for clinical interventions
  • Maintain case documentation in electronic health record system
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
  • Work with Family Advocates to enhance communication with consumer families

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Mental Health clinician
  • Valid NYS Driver's License
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience with similar client population
  • Proficient reading and writing English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual clinicians if relevant to the population serviced at site
