Key Responsibilities
Provides direct patient care and clinical support for physicians
Documents patient information using electronic medical records
Performs clinical duties such as EKGs and wound dressings
Assists with patient scheduling and clerical support
Collects and prepares laboratory specimens
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited 1-year certificate or 2-year diploma Medical Assistant program
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
Certification from NHA, AMT, or AAMA
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year related work experience
Basic Life Support Certification within 6 months
