Key Responsibilities
Propose and lead independent research projects on novel semiconducting quantum devices
Collaborate with APL staff to identify emerging challenges with quantum solutions
Support ongoing programs in quantum information science
Required Qualifications
PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field
1+ years of post-doctoral (or equivalent) experimental experience with quantum systems
Proven record of research accomplishments and publications in quantum science
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to occasionally travel to sponsor sites, conferences, and workshops
Ability to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Significant hands-on experimental experience with semiconducting spin qubit design
Experience with test equipment control and data analysis in Python
