Job Description Summary:
The Student Imaging Tech Aide is integral to the overall patient and guest experience. The Student Imaging Tech Aide duties include, but are not limited to the following: provide support to clinicians in the preparation, performance and post procedural work of providing patient care. Ensuring rooms are appropriately stocked and cleaned pre and post procedure, setting up supplies for procedures, ensuring adequate supply volume, monitoring telemetry, performing POC testing as required for imaging procedures, checking to ensure all images have crossed into PACS, assisting with positioning for imaging exams, placing MRI coils in preparation for procedures, transporting patients, greeting patients and assisting patients during the exiting processResponsibilities And Duties:
100% Assist Technologists in performance of procedures.Minimum Qualifications:
High School or GED (Required)BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart AssociationAdditional Job Description:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School graduate or equivalent.
BLS Certification
Enrolled in final year of an accredited medical imaging program
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
Strong and appropriate communication and organizational skills. Basic computer skills. Excellent customer service skills.
KIND and LENGTH of EXPERIENCE
Six months to one year experience in a position with public contact.
