As a Health & Safety Site Manager at Primient, you will lead initiatives to ensure employee safety and environmental protection within the facility. This role involves managing a dedicated team, developing safety programs, and fostering a safety culture that complies with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a team of 6 direct reports
Oversee employee and contractor training programs
Establish and maintain industrial hygiene monitoring and reporting programs
Act as a liaison with authorities during emergencies
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Develop and enforce safety policies
Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments
Provide training programs and communicate safety protocols
Monitor and report safety metrics
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
At least 10 years of experience in a Health & Safety role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Strong knowledge of OSHA and other relevant regulations
Excellent communication skills
Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop safety programs
